Yuntian Liu is a graduate student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He joined Dr. Pan Weiyi’s research group in August 2026 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering.

He received his Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology in 2026. His undergraduate research focused on the biological treatment of phenol-containing wastewater and the screening of carbamazepine-degrading microbial consortia. His current research interest lies in the degradation of emerging contaminants using geminal atom catalysts.
